ABOUT STACY DANNA AQUINO
I’m a junior chemical engineering student at NJIT, minoring in materials engineering, and currently looking for internships where I can apply what I’ve learned in labs and classrooms to real-world projects. I’ve had hands-on experience in chemical process labs, Arduino-based sensor systems, and quality inspection using CNC machines and SolidWorks. I’ve also worked in customer-facing and leadership roles at Ulta and a real estate office, so I’m comfortable communicating with different teams, staying organized, and working under pressure. Outside of academics, I’m passionate about making STEM more accessible. I’ve volunteered as a mentor and speaker for students interested in engineering, and helped organize events to get younger kids excited about science. I’m especially interested in internships related to manufacturing, materials, pharmaceuticals, or process engineering — but I’m open to any opportunity where I can learn, contribute, and grow as an engineer.
