As the SVP, General Counsel at Adaptive Biotechnologies Corp, I lead the legal functions of a pioneering company in immunosequencing, a cutting-edge technology that reveals diagnostic and therapeutic insights from the adaptive immune system. With over 35 years of experience in life sciences law, I was recognized as the World\'s Leading Patent Attorney for four consecutive years, and have successfully protected, enforced, and monetized Adaptive\'s intellectual property assets, which are essential for its innovation and growth. I also manage and oversee strategic transactions, corporate development, litigation, corporate governance, capital financing, healthcare law compliance, data privacy and executive employment, leveraging my in-depth knowledge and expertise in the biomed and medical device sectors. Before joining Adaptive, I co-founded and served as the general counsel of Endicor Medical, a company that developed intravascular therapeutic devices, and was acquired by Medtronic in I also co-chaired the Medical Device Practice at DLA Piper, a global law firm, and served as the Senior Assistant General Counsel at BTG International, a large international biomed company. I am passionate about advancing the field of immunosequencing and its applications for improving human health and well-being.
