CDI is the largest member-owned dairy cooperative in California and the second-largest dairy cooperative in the U.S.Responsibilities Include:• Develop, implement and evaluate the annual communications plan across all audiences incollaboration with CDI’s team and constituents• Crisis communication plan development and implementation• Facilitate crisis training and drills across all business segments• Serve as spokesperson for the cooperative• Develop relationships with and manage all media relationships• Manage and execute all internal and external communications• Work directly with CDI\'s member-owners to ensure that their needs are met• Provide guidance and assistance to member-owners when dealing with animal activist activity and trespassers on farm• Direct, plan, and manage the CDI Leadership Program• Plan and manage industry and employee events• Coordinate webpage maintenance-ensure that new and consistent information is published• Serve as project manager lead for all major pr/communications projects for the cooperative (Develop timelines, collect project bids, oversee project development through completion and delivery)• Manage the development, distribution, and maintenance of all print and electronic collateral• Work directly with the CDI Board of Directors and Sr. management team to develop corporate strategies• Coordinate and organize meetings that engage the company’s audiences• Collaborate with State and National trade associations on industry projects and initiatives to support California dairy producers
