About Staci Schiller

Staci is a results-driven communications and public affairs strategist with 20+ years of experience, primarily in financial services. What sparks joy for her professionally is building authentic relationships and shaping thoughtful narratives for the best possible outcomes. She’s a native South Dakotan who has lived on both coasts and prefers the middle. Some of her career achievements: redesigned currency and coin rollouts and Y2K initiatives planning at the San Francisco Fed; developing Wells Fargo’s first blog, The Student LoanDown; managing employee and external communications for a consumer banking divestiture in the upper Midwest; being part of the multi-bank team that brought the first Black-owned bank to Minneapolis; and promoting the groundbreaking of Opportunity Crossing, a mixed-use affordable housing development on the site of a former bank branch in South Minneapolis destroyed in the social uprisings following George Floyd’s murder. Staci is married to her husband Steven and has a bonus son, Miles, and a rescue dog, Squash. She loves baking (particularly sourdough), thrifting, reading, em dashes, pop culture, documentaries, and democracy. She’ll always bring snacks. Her favorite outdoor activity is going back inside.
