ABOUT STACIE MCMAHAN FELLER
Stacie Feller is a very focused business professional who believes in surrounding herself with exceptional talent. Stacie started her insurance career in 1996 when she joined American Interstate Insurance Company (AIIC) in Deridder, Louisiana. While at AIIC, she underwrote high hazard workers’ compensation policies in multiple states and served as a Subject Matter Expert on their policy administration replacement system.In 2001, she was recruited by Texas Mutual Insurance Company. During her 15 years at Texas Mutual, she began as a regional Underwriter and rose to the position of Vice President of Underwriting Systems. During her tenure, she led teams working on policy language, pricing strategy, agency relationships and legal compliance. In 2012, Stacie married Scott Feller and they began working together on a plan to grow his roofing business. For four years, Stacie worked in the background helping to build a solid foundation of the business and the operation grew from revenue of $275K to $5M. In 2016, the roofing company was large enough to accommodate both Scott & Stacie working in the business. At that point, she left the corporate world to work with her husband. Since joining Feller Roofing as its president, Stacie has helped re-brand to the company as Kanga Roof, standardize processes and quality control measures, and has also reorganized the operation to include a management team. Kanga Roof is now one of the top three largest residential re-roofing contractors in the Greater Austin market. By surrounding herself with good talent, Stacie and her husband have been able to branch out and open two additional businesses, Koala Cooling and Hippo Café. In addition to her business operations, Stacie is serving her third year on the board of the Hutto Resource Center and mentoring several young women on topics ranging from business ownership to corporate leadership. In addition, she is a board member of The Cares Alliance, a local non profit with the mission to be a force of good that highlights financial needs and provided safe, secure opportunities to support those needs within the community. As if that isn\'t enough, Stacie & Scott opened The Hippo Cafe in Hutto, Texas in early 2019. They are a scratch kitchen with down home country cooking.
