Invest in Our Future is a pooled fund that was launched by leading economic development, climate/clean energy experts, and a group of major philanthropies (including Rockefeller Foundation, Hewlett Foundation, Packard Foundation, MacArthur Foundation, Breakthrough Energy, and others) to create a more just and equitable transition to a clean energy economy. IOF supports nonprofits working to advance clean energy projects that will grow local economies, expand access to clean energy and lower costs for families and businesses, and create high-quality jobs for local residents. We coordinate with partners across philanthropy to identify funding gaps, opportunities, and the organizations best positioned to address both.
