About Stacie Ramos
I have 13 years experience as an MEP designer/drafter prior to my career transition into project estimating and preconstruction in early 2014. I have a BS in Construction Management and my work is focused in Pre-Construction Services for negotiated and alternate procurement contracting methods. My combined skill set and experiences have benefited me greatly not only in plan review/estimating, but also with project planning and scheduling. During my time as an estimator, I have had the opportunity to work on projects large and small. From office infills to mixed use development to senior living campuses. My bid history includes private bids, educational/higher learning bids, federal work and retail of all sizes. I have experience with hard bid, negotiated bid, design build, and joint venture. I currently sit on the MSU Construction Management Department Advisory Board and the OTC Construction Technology Advisory Board. I teach occasional classes at the community college level when needed. Workforce development is my passion, the construction industry is amazing and sharing that with the next generation of workers means the world to me.I have also served as the Affiliate President for the ACE Mentor Program of the Ozarks. ACE is a nationwide affiliate based student mentoring program for high school students 9-12th grade. ACE provides local industry mentoring to students interested in careers either in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction.I have served as the Springfield Contractors Association, Generation Next President. GenNext is the next level leaders program formed by the SCA to promote community involvement, student mentoring, and professional development.
