I am responsible for Carnival Cruise Line’s IT operations including strategic planning, project management, finance, accounting, procurement, contracting, vendor partnerships, organizational change management as well as HR functions such as staffing, employee engagement, and organizational design. It is my job to ensure efficient and effective back-office operations, allowing our IT leaders to focus on core competencies, while enabling executive insights and decisions. One way we do this is to modernize these functions through the power of data and digital technologies via automated quality reviews, integrated systems and data, automated workflows, operations visualization, performance scorecards, data analytics, etc. In my role I collaborate with technology and business leaders across the corporation to share best practices and decrease the total cost of ownership for technology. I often lead critical, complex, enterprise programs across our global organization. The scope of my role includes supporting a staff of ~1200 technology professionals and managing an annual budget of ~$300M.
