About Stacia Bivens

I am currently working in Cincinnati, Ohio as a Senior Audit Manager with KPMG. I have been employed in public accounting for several years now and have exposure to various industries such as consumer goods, retail and manufacturing. My experience includes auditing a variety of publicly listed clients including Fortune 500 companies, which allowed me to obtain a robust understanding of US GAAP and PCAOB standards. I also have international exposure as I pursued a secondment with KPMG in Zurich, Switzerland from August 2020 - August 2023. I served in a Manager role on global public audit clients listed on the NYSE and therefore needing to adhere to PCAOB and US GAAP standards. My key contributions throughout my career include taking lead Senior and Manager roles in a few special projects which include a carve-out audit, IPO issuance and two first year audit clients. Throughout my career, I have developed strong leadership skills through being in a lead role on several clients, taking initiatives in project management, upholding and boosting team morale, and serving as a mentor to several individuals. Promoting a strong, trusting and collaborative team environment is very important to me and I have strived to uphold this value. Working in an international and highly diversified environment has given me the opportunity to expand my technical accounting and communication skills as well as to further develop my cultural awareness. Additionally, I am involved in recruiting, training colleagues on firm-wide and technical accounting topics, and serve as a mentor to several colleagues.
