ABOUT STACEY MARSHALL

Human Resource Assistant Director & Ombuds Coordinator; Working in the area of Employee Learning and Professional Development at Idaho State University. I manage and train a pool of ISU Ombuds located on 3 ISU campuses. I am the administrator of ISU’s campus Talent Management System. I am a Title IX investigator and previously served on the President\'s Diversity Council for many years. I designed and manage a Leadership Development certification course for current and future leaders at my institution and have designed and supervised a First Time Leadership certification course for new leaders. I created a campus wide recognition program titled ISU Cares and recognized hundreds of faculty and staff monthly and in a yearly awards ceremony. I have experience designing and conducting employee training and development in all areas. I create and facilitate professional development trainings in diversity, discrimination, customer service, time management, stress management, conflict resolution, delegation, mentoring, networking, and managing change. I conduct university specific training on Respectful Workplace dealing with rude, inappropriate and bullying behaviors, as well as harassment and discrimination issues and Diversity/Multiculturalism in the Workplace. Until recently I created and administered the ISU Mentoring Program for faculty and staff. I have been a United Way Coordinator since 2009, with total donations in the range annually. I am a member of the Phi Alpha Alpha National Honors Society, an alumni chapter of public administrators. I have 7 classes left to complete for a doctorate degree in Educational Leadership.
