Serve as the primary HR contact for the Prairies Region that includes locations in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba, British Columbia and Ontario, managing all employment-related legal matters including Employment Standards claims, Human Rights complaints, and litigation.• Lead complex employee relations investigations and resolve workplace issues in consultation with internal and external legal counsel as needed.• Provide strategic performance management support to leaders, including coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary action, and termination guidance.• Collaborate cross-functionally with HR team members to execute national HR strategies, initiatives, and change management efforts.• Monitor and interpret provincial employment legislation and HR best practices; proactively advise the Corporate HR team on policy and procedural updates.• Facilitate regional employee relations initiatives, including employee committee meetings and listening sessions, to foster open communication and strengthen employee engagement.
