Ampersand Consulting LLC works with organizations to generate extraordinary results though people in two distinct areas. The first is in-house workshops to develop the strategies and skills to collaborate in unionized environments. With over 30 years of demonstrated results in collective bargaining and union relations, I teach teams how to build working relationships in organized labor environments, delivering constructive collective agreements that work for both company and union teams. The second is a one-day workshop on managing time and meetings. ABOUT STACEY ALLERTON
The need for collaboration and for individuals and teams to work together effectively has never been greater. Organizations work with me to expand their capacity to create extraordinary business results through powerful and productive working relationships. I offer customized \'in house\' training, consulting, coaching, and public workshop sessions specializing in collaboration and negotiation skills that improve the way people work together, even in difficult circumstances. I also lead a workshop that provides individuals feeling stress and pressure in the workplace with the time/meeting management and communication tools to focus, energize, and engage successfully in today\'s fast-paced environment. Here\'s my story. I served as Vice-President of Human Resource for Ford Canada and Executive Director of Labor Affairs in the United States for Ford Motor Company for over 25 years. While there, I was the first woman to be the Chief Negotiator for an automotive collective agreement that set the pattern for the entire Canadian automotive industry for multiple agreements. I have demonstrated success in developing teams, coaching executive leadership, and creating strategic plans with a workforce of over employees. I’m now bringing my passion for creating visible business results through collaboration to Ampersand Consulting LLC. My work has been highlighted in The New York Times and The Toronto Star. The Women’s Executive Network recognized me as one of Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 for multiple years. I am a certified executive coach with a M.A. in Industrial Relations and a B.A. in Business. I am a member of the Center for Executive Leadership. I have served as a keynote speaker and workshop leader at numerous private and public-sector events.
