As Compliance Specialist I maintain a large part of the regulatory reporting requirements for Waypoint Mutual. I prepare and submit quarterly and annual premium tax filings, in addition to annual assessment, annual rate and other miscellaneous filings, for each of the jurisdictions in Waypoint\'s business territory. I am responsible for staying up-to-date requirements and researching regulatory requirements as needed.I worked with our team of professionals to expand from the 17 states we covered when I began in 2015 to our current licensed territory of 31 states. Every aspect of the expansion has grown my understanding of the insurance industry and has given me deeper insight into the breadth of all aspects of industry compliance.
