Norridge, IL, US

As Ridgewood enters its fourth year into the ISBE Competency-Based Education initiative, I am proud to serve on a faculty of a nationally-recognized District of Distinction for its innovative approach to work-based learning. As one of Ridgewood’s two dedicated CS Teachers (for a school of <900 students), last year I taught a dual-credit course in iOS App Development and an Introductory Computer Engineering course. This year, I will be teaching APCSA, a dual-credit freshman Introduction to Programming course, an Introduction to Cybersecurity course, and an enrichment/mentoring course for freshmen who’ve committed to taking CS throughout their four years at Ridgewood.
