About Shardonnay Summerhays
As a graduate from the William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, I have years of experience working in the Meetings and Events industry. My journey began as a Special Events Intern at Aria Resort & Casino followed by a role as a Special Events Coordinator at Luxor Hotel & Casino. Advancing in my career, I transferred to The Mirage as a Special Events Manager where I expanded my expertise in Casino Events. In August 2021, I returned to Aria, managing high-profile events like the Member Guest Golf Tournament at Shadow Creek, the Sunset Poker and overseeing budgets of $2M+ Events. My professional development includes completing the Special Events New & Emerging Leadership Series in 2022 prior to being promoted to Special Events Director.I am passionate about event planning, highly detail-oriented, organized, and thrive on delivering exceptional experiences for our guests. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, two children, and our dog Poppy!
