   Serves as Chairman of the Board for a 527 Super PAC that supports local, state, and federal candidates committed to principled leadership. VFRL is founded and administered by U.S. military veterans. Also serves as North Carolina State Leader working to develop and foster relationships with pro democracy public servants, organizations, and media outlets across the state.• Developed strong relationships with the NC Democratic Party leadership team to be utilized as a surrogate for local leaders on issues related to military/veterans affairs, voting rights, gerrymandering, and other democracy related issues.• Partnered with local organizations such as Indivisible, 50501, and Democracy Out Loud to help organize and put on various rallies and town halls in the Raleigh, Durham, and Fayetteville areas. Was a featured speaker at the Hands Off and No Kings rallies and has served as an advocate, surrogate, and speaker for various campaigns in NC to include the Kamala Harris NC campaign, Justice Allison Riggs, Congresswoman Deborah Ross, and Congressman Wiley Nickel.• Collaborated with local pro democracy media outlets such as NC Newsline, Beacon Media, and Cardinal and Pine amd served as a regular guest commentary writer to provide analysis and insight into both local and national issues in the pro democracy space such as the politization of the military, the corruption of the courts in NC, and gerrymandering.
