As Chief Legal and Corporate Affairs Officer at Remitly since December 2020, I lead the Legal, Compliance, Risk, Global Impact, and Government Affairs teams, providing strategic counsel to the CEO and Board of a NASDAQ-listed cross-border payments company. My work focuses on navigating complex regulatory landscapes and ensuring sound legal and compliance frameworks to support the company’s mission of transforming global payments. During my tenure we have successfully completed our IPO, grown our licensing portfolio to include over 100 licenses spanning multiple countries and products and supported revenue growth from $255 million to over $1.5 billion. In addition to my experience at Remitly, I have extensive experience in securities regulation, capital markets transactions and public company governance spanning private practice and in house experience with small, medium and large cap companies.
