   o Chart successful course of directing an accounting team of eight staff members—an accountant, payroll administrator, and accounts payable and purchasing team—to manage accounting activities for a 501c3 non-profit charter school network spanning 10 campuses, a stand-alone charter management organization, and $90 million in annual revenue.o Oversee the accurate and timely completion of month-end close processes for the organization.• Evaluate accrual entries on the balance sheet and income statement to ensure accuracy in financial statements. • Verify account reconciliations, including cash and fixed assets, to identify and prevent fraudulent activity.• Analyze and approve monthly journal entries, including intercompany transactions, to identify data entry errors and other irregularities.o Enforce internal controls, segregation of duties, and financial statement accuracy in compliance with GAAP accounting principles.o Authorize weekly expenditure and fund disbursement requisitions.
