Shama has secured transformational gifts for nonprofits of all shapes and sizes, from grassroots start-ups to established national institutions. She’s also the host of \"From Passion to Purpose,\" a podcast that spotlights nonprofit leaders, changemakers, and everyday do-gooders who refuse to quit.She is the founder of Case for Support Consulting, a nonprofit strategist with more than 20 years of experience, and a published author with a talent for turning big visions into bold results. When she isn’t working as the Senior Director of Development for the National Family Planning & Reproductive Health Association (NFPRHA), a national organization committed to ensuring everyone gets the care they deserve, Shama is usually writing a chapter, teaching a class, or cheering on the everyday heroes of the nonprofit world.As an educator, Shama teaches at multiple colleges where she brings humor, heart, and hard-earned wisdom to her courses on board development, storytelling, and fundraising. She has presented at conferences and webinars across the country, offering practical tools, sharing her lived experience, and occasionally offering a dose of tough love. A published author several times over, her third book, Dreamers, is scheduled for release in March 2027.No matter the setting, whether consulting, teaching, podcasting, photography, or writing, Shama empowers mission-driven organizations to grow sustainably while honoring the communities they serve with dignity, equity, and purpose.
