About Sruti Sriram
I am a teacher, instructional leader, writer, and researcher. I care about unleashing students\' wisdom, experiences, and voice so that they can change the world. I design and lead professional learning so that other teachers, too, can both empower young women and find their own voices as educators. I have taught a research seminar to senior secondary students so that they can ideate, research, and write pieces that demonstrate expertise and compassion. I also led a Participatory Action Research team at my school where students and teachers are peers in service of inquiry and learning. The research that has come out of this project has been presented at Harvard, Avasara, and Teach for India.
