About Sruthisree K.
Hello, Universe! I’m a recent graduate with a master’s degree in aerospace engineering from the University at Buffalo, with a strong focus on advanced materials and structural systems for aerospace and multifunctional applications. My passion lies in bridging the gap between materials innovation and structural performance, whether through hands-on research or interdisciplinary collaboration. My experience spans both academic research and industry, a unique perspective shaped by both engineering research and IT infrastructure experience. My academic experience has centered around exploring the electrical and mechanical behavior of advanced composite materials, with a particular emphasis on carbon fiber reinforced polymers (CFRP). This work supports the development of multifunctional and smart aerospace structures. I have been involved in research that examines how these materials respond under stress and have also co-invented a patented thermal insulation coating designed for high-performance applications.Earlier in my career, I worked at Capgemini, supporting enterprise-level network infrastructure for a major financial client. Operating within a rigorous and security-focused networking environment utilizing NetScaler platforms, I gained a system-level perspective and collaborative mindset, qualities that align well with the demands of aerospace systems engineering. Having also served as a teaching assistant and grader in core engineering subjects, I value both technical depth and clarity in communication, whether in research, education, or development. SPACE, SCIENCE & STARS have always fascinated me beyond what one could imagine. I believe innovative structural design and the search for new materials will shape aviation and space exploration. I embrace the challenge of designing lightweight yet robust structures and understanding materials that endure the harsh conditions of aeronautical environments. As I set forth on this exciting journey, I warmly welcome opportunities to engage with fellow professionals, researchers, and forward-thinkers who share my passion for aerospace structures and materials.A GIRL WITH MILLION DREAMS OF STARDUST AND SPACE SRUTHISREE K NARAYANAN
