End-to-End Payroll Processing: Primary focus on India Payroll to oversee the complete payroll process, from gathering and inputting payroll data to calculating wages for all employees. Partner with client to ensure ownership of accuracy and timeliness to meet the SLA.Accuracy and Compliance: Ensure payroll accuracy and strict adherence to applicable local and national laws, company policies, and regulations. Ensure smooth payment of Statutory such as PF, TDS, PT etc. Also, yearly and quarterly filings of tax returns.Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other relevant departments to ensure smooth data exchange related to new hires, terminations, promotions, and salary adjustments. Reprocessing of salary at timely manner.Payroll Discrepancy Management: Proactively identify, investigate, and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly, ensuring timely and accurate correction.Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and generate various payroll reports, including tax filings, benefits deductions, and other mandatory reports to comply with legal and regulatory requirements.Employee Support and Communication: Address and resolve employee inquiries and concerns regarding payroll, offering exceptional customer service and ensuring clear communication. Co-ordinate with employee on ITCS and form 16 issues.Confidentiality and Data Security: Ensure the confidentiality and security of all payroll-related data, adhering to data protection standards and company policies.Regulatory Compliance and Industry Updates: Stay informed on the latest payroll regulations, including Indian tax laws and industry best practices, making necessary updates to payroll processes to maintain compliance.
