Responsible for the daily finance and operations of four areas: Glassware, Global Oncology, Research Administration, and Shared Resources. Glassware Services provides cleaning and sterilization of reusable laboratory glassware. Services include washing, drying, sterilizing glassware, pipette plugging, and autoclaving laboratory liquids. The resource also supports the operation of media services. Global Oncology [GO] is a cross-divisional program within the Research Administration that generates cancer and related infectious disease research with global impact and supports research and clinical capacity development in low-resource settings. Research Administration [RA] accelerates innovative discoveries at Fred Hutch by enabling scientific collaboration, providing opportunities and funding for enhanced cross-disciplinary interactions, making the latest technology available, and providing center-wide administrative support to our faculty and their teams. Shared Resources [SR] is a uniquely centralized program of specialized cores and scientific services that drives advances by integrating dedicated experts and cutting-edge technologies across the entire research pipeline, from basic science to clinical trials.
