   Created and developed #BHeardAmplified—a program that combines free adult and youth media classes with live community events to foster social change at a hyperlocal level. The program offered free podcasting classes in both Arabic and English to Arab women in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn and adults at the Department of Corrections in Brownsville, Brooklyn. We also taught Muslim teenagers filmmaking at a Mosque in Bed Stuy. As the project manager, I oversee every aspect of the program which includes managing a team, developing high profile partnerships and co-teaching podcasting classes. I created little podcasting toolkits which I distributed in barber shops, delis, community centers and schools across Brooklyn. I also produced live in-person and virtual community town hall discussions. This award-winning program has received funding from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Doris Duke Foundation and the Lincoln Center Cultural Innovation Fund.
