Led a cross-functional team of 10+(CAD, Tooling, Sales to deliver technical alignment and on-time deliverables.• Served as primary interface with OEM customers and studio teams, translating design vision into production ready products.• Managed full product lifecycle for headlamps and tail lamps on major OEM programs (Toyota Sequoia, Tundra, Tacoma, Camry; Honda Pilot).• Maintaining an open issue list related to customer opens items and cross functional teams’ issues.• Daily Coordination meeting with the Design team to track design miles stone progress.• Collaboration with Design validation groups for validation of Lamps by ensuring that the lights meet performance, safety, regulatory, and durability standards before they go into mass production, to meet FMVSS requirements.• Attending all plant Design reviews checking part quality with Tooling and molding.• Working with an optics team and rendering team, making mockup for customer showcase during RFQ and milestone events.• Responsible for reviewing Mold flow analysis in product early stages of product preparations to avoid further product issues.• Benchmark competitor’s lamps to analyze evolving market trends, and unique execution strategies and implement them with effectiveness.• Making Bill of material of product as per design concept sheets.• Coordination with testing groups for postproduction validation for DV testings.• Coordinated DFM/DFA, tooling, plant readiness, and internal/external design reviews.• Directed ECR implementations and ensured PLM compliance using Teamcenter.• Led benchmarking, VAVE initiatives, and tear-down analyses, resulting in cost and weight optimization.• Supported thermal, vibration, and mold flow analyses; implemented effective countermeasures.
