Executed trailer frame FEA in Vector CARB HVAC unit to address corrosion/gap reduction issues by replacing legacy welded joints with M10 riveted nut arrangement at the top frame - L bracket interface in the frame assembly.2. Achieved 28% cost reduction per unit, capitalizing on overall gains of ~ 51K USD shifting to the new Solara supplier muffler configuration. The cost out was driven by the reduction in gauge thickness in the muffler inlet and exhaust pipe compared to the incumbent muffler design.3. Evaluated structural integrity carrying out static and dynamic analysis for the NDTP European truck HVAC unit modeling external skins and top cover. Instrumental in contributing to design change by suggesting elimination of riveted bracket under top cover to aid significant cost reduction per NDTP unit.4. Enforced displacement analysis of frame and filter brackets on the X4 CARB trailer unit to validate the design for permissible working stress magnitudes.
