   Distribution Layer team operates services that distribute social graph updates to Meta data centers worldwide, keeping caches and indexes eventually consistent while solving hard distributed-systems problems (e.g, consensus, cache consistency, pub/sub, distributed log storage, and lambda/shuffle services). This pipeline has been built from the ground up to scale to 60+ regions with high throughput (1TB/s+ write throughput and 11TB/s+ read throughput;<500ms end-to-end delivery targets.) Real Time Infrastructure team\'s mission is to power live product experiences across Meta’s Family of Apps by providing highly scalable streaming transport and real-time frameworks that support spiky workloads and a broad ecosystem of services/use cases (e.g, Graph Subscription Service, User Presence, Live Video Comments).This service operates and at scale - 3B+ events/second through the streaming transport; designed for low latency and high availability at global scale.Operational leadership: Own service health and outcomes; elaborate focus on reliability, efficiency, observability, and incident readiness for always-on, globally distributed systems.Strategic leadership: Set multi-year direction across these global hyper-scale services; align cross-functional partners on priorities, roadmaps, and execution.People leadership: Lead and support multi-site teams (through managers and very senior ICs); hire and develop talent, strong setups for career growth, and build an inclusive, high-performing culture.
