Kubate at IU is an organization on campus that aims at equipping its members with the necessary tools required to curate and effectively pitch business ideas to angel investors. Further, it aims at connecting veteran angel investors and mentors to these passionate entrepreneurs aspiring to build high growth ventures via workshops, webinars and events- Conceptualized and established an organization on campus that aims at helping students curate and pitch their business ideas to angel investors- Designed a ‘Shark Tank’ inspired competition to highlight entrepreneurial ideas subject to investment from seasoned investors- Lead a team of six executive board members to execute events, organize speaker events, conduct workshops etc.

ABOUT SRISHTI GOURISARIA
Animated, Ambitious, Impulsive and Industrious. This is me, Srishti Gourisaria, an aspiring businessperson, who wants to be the best version of herself. Hailing from a family with its roots set deep into the business industry, I have always had a clear image of what I have wanted my future to look like. An entrepreneurship major, I have numerous ideas buzzing in my head at any given point of time, and I aspire to \'invest\' all of the knowledge I have accumulated in the past and present, to \'produce\' a strong future. Having heard stories about my grandfather, in his early days, selling products on the streets of India, verses seeing him as this strong and influential business personality that set up his multi-million business in India, I have ever been heavily inspired by him, and wish to emulate him in every possible way. Although a long way into the future, I believe in taking small steps towards my goal in everyday life. Hence, I peer-tutor for two classes, compete in case competitions, serve as a senator for my residential building and am a part of a national honors society, all while working part-time on my campus. However, I feel that supreme accomplishment is when you blur the line between work and play and hence, make sure to indulge in activities that help me rejuvenate and also give an impetus to my all-round development. I am an active member of the clubs, IU Ballroom Dance Club and IU Campus Girl Scouts Club where I enjoy spending my time learning new dance routines or helping Girl Scouts in various endeavors.
