I operate at the edge of finance, tech, and regulation—where fast-scaling startups meet frontier innovation.Currently driving Finance at Pixxel, a full-stack spacetech company redefining Earth observation. I joined right after the seed round and have since helped our journey through $85M+ in equity fundraising, global investor relations, and end-to-end controllership—spanning FP & A, treasury, legal, supply chain, and compliance ops.As a finance leader in deeptech, I don’t just manage numbers—I build systems, teams, and strategy that enable products to launch (literally) and scale globally. I\'ve built lean, agile finance orgs, designed infra from 0→1, and supported cross-border teams across 6 countries.My work intersects closely with national policy: collaborating with the Department of Space, IN-SPACe, DGFT, and others to help shape India’s private space economy. From securing first-of-its-kind FDI approvals to contributing to SCOMET trade panels, I’ve had a ringside view of the regulatory evolution of spacetech.Keen to share insights, contribute to the ecosystem, and support (specifically):1.    Pixxel works at an interesting convolution of deep-tech R&D, precision manufacturing & software/SAAS products, providing an additional breadth to the role of a standard finance Leader.As the Head of Finance, I look after Fund-raises, Investor relations, FP & A, & Controllership functions at Pixxel. Additionally, Regulatory Compliance, Legal, Supply Chain & admin functions also fall under my purview.Pixxel is based out of the US & India, with employees working from 6 different countries, & my team centrally manages Finance operations from Bangalore, India. I have built a lean, high-performing team, which grew from 1 member in 2022 to 13 members in 2025. I joined Pixxel right after the seed round & have since helped the Company raise ~$85 mil equity capital from Global Investors (across Series A&B). As part of the leadership team, I have also scaled various processes of the org, to ensure we are as efficient at ~250 people, as we were at ~20 people. Given the sensitive nature (dual-use technology) of the work at Pixxel, I have also worked on policy formulation & execution with various Government departments. We were the first Spacetech company to get FDI approval under the erstwhile Government route, we are also the first Spacetech Company registered as a 100% EOU. We work closely with the DoS, IN-SPACe & DGFT with inputs on the Space Policy & guidelines formulation & implementation in the country. I have been a panelist in multiple sessions organised by DGFT on SCOMET Trade, ease of doing business & have a ringside view of how the private Space Industry has evolved over the last 5 years in the country. I believe with the right focus on overall company strategy & ground level operations, Finance function adds massive value to the org.
