   As a Deli Associate work in a fast paced environment one on one interaction with customers applying observational, detail oriented, organizational, communication and concentration skills. Multitasking (making presliced food by making list of cheeses and meats to be sliced, organizing already presliced meats and cheeses in the cart as well as attending to customers at the same time). Slicing Hams, Turkey, Bologna, Lebanon, Cheese, London Broil, Salami and Pepperoni on a slicer, weighing them entering right code of the item pricing them and handing it to customers in a pleasant manner. Filling up different kinds of salads(Potato Salad, Ham Salad, Egg Potato Salad, Pasta Salad, Cole Slaw etc)in a container sometimes making salads, entering right code, pricing salads and handing it to the customers, sometimes let them taste some salad if they want to and thank them for shopping at Weis Markets. Thus have developed good customer service skills and excellent teamwork spirit. Also took orders of pizzas other food items over phone made different pizzas for customers and helped in hot foods too pricing Rotisserie chickens. Have also mentored or guided my co workers to be productive hardworking disciplined thus building up my leadership skills. Handled closing tasks well too. Responsible for deli department conditions and management of Deli Department. Helped hot food department in their tasks building up teamwork spirit. Took orders of food platters and pizzas and made them. Many a times worked the job of two Deli Associates when the other one was absent applying teamwork, trustworthy and hardworking spirit adding to productivity of the company. Most of the time handled multiple customer needs in long line alone when my coworkers were busy taking care of hot food department. Many a times helped Deli Department during call offs. Many a times handled 2 shifts.
