ABOUT SRINIVAS SURIYANARAYANAN
I am a first-year student at the D\'Amore McKim School of Business at Northeastern University. My background is in electrical engineering with a bachelor\'s degree from Vellore Institute of Technology, India. Post that, I worked for four years as a software/firmware product developer at Schneider Electric. As an engineer with a love for mathematics, I bring a very different skillset to the table. My passion for working with numbers and critical reasoning helps me understand key problems and make recommendations out of them. My goal is to work with market research and other forms of data that helps me understand the trends and patterns that are shaping the consumers. Honing this core skill will hold me in good stead when I pursue a career in strategy and product management. At Northeastern University, apart from spending majority of the day swarmed by books, I am a research analyst at the 360 Huntington Fund which is a student driven mutual fund. As a board member of the Consulting Club, I organize events which help students practice their consulting skills. All other times, I play FIFA and I am on the prowl for the latest games in the market. Table tennis and chess are my go to stress busters. I love exploring and traveling to places which encompass the beauty of nature.
