Experience
Junior Executive
Nov 2024 — Present · Chennai, IN
I started my career in November 2024 as a fresher after completing my Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC) certification. My first role was in a payor-side project, where I learned the basics of risk adjustment coding.Currently, I’m part of a provider-side project where I work on prospective coding. I help improve clinical documentation by reviewing patient records, identifying any suspect or missing conditions, and ensuring accurate coding for risk adjustment.Along the way, I also worked on concurrent coding within the same project. This involved single date-of-service (DOS) validation, reviewing office visit notes, and coding them correctly for the claim process. In addition, I contributed to a retrospective outpatient coding project, where I handled OP (outpatient) coding, reviewing past encounters for proper diagnosis capture.I’m proud to have received the Best Debut Performer award for Q1 2025, which has motivated me to keep learning and growing in the field of medical coding.
