About Srinivas Durvasula

I’m Director of Program Management at ISPACEI Satellite and Research Pvt. Ltd, bringing 26 years of technical program execution across aerospace, defence, advanced manufacturing, and space systems. My hands-on depth across satellite subsystem domains positions me as a practicing systems engineer as well as a program manager, with a consistent focus on delivery excellence. Six provisional patent filings across my career reflect an orientation toward IP strategy alongside program delivery. My early career in commercial aerospace and defence built the delivery discipline that underpins my practice — USD 23M in program revenues across multiple simulator programs for the Indian armed forces. That discipline was subsequently sharpened in an R&D context at the National Design and Research Forum (NDRF) of the Institution of Engineers (India), where I led multi-institutional programmes spanning multidisciplinary engineering disciplines, managing the full lifecycle from proof of concept to productization handover. Structured thinking under uncertainty became an instinct here, a capability recognized through my elevation as a Senior Member of threads converged at the Indian Technology Congress Association, where over six years I architected the program management framework for the 75 Students’ Satellites Mission, a national-scale academic space initiative, enabling distributed satellite development across institutions while maintaining systems-level coherence and TRL progression. Simultaneously, as Program Director at ISPACEI, I led the organization’s transition from concept to contracted delivery, securing its first NanoSatellite program coordinated through GeM and establishing technical credibility in a highly regulated domain.I currently lead programs concurrently within ISPACEI, driving technical baseline integrity through structured audit, gap analysis, and corrective action closure across all spacecraft subsystems. I co-authored “Advanced Constellation Management for CubeSat Networks: Optimization of Single-Plane and Walker Delta Architectures” — selected by the International Astronautical Federation (IAF) for presentation at IAC 2025, the world’s premier space conference.I self-assess at Practitioner — Senior Systems Engineer level against the INCOSE SE Competency Framework, with demonstrated competency across requirements engineering, subsystem V&V, interface control, risk management, and stakeholder governance. I hold the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) credentials from the Scrum
