About Srinivas Sridharan

I am working as an Imaging Data Scientist at DuPont Pioneer, Johnston IA. I am currently working on project in Image Analytics, Computer Vision, and Deep Learning for Image Classification, Object Recognition, and Semantic Segmentation. I did my Ph.D. at Rochester Institute of Technology, NY (RIT), under the guidance of Dr. Reynold Bailey. My research interests are in Applied Visual Perception in Computer Vision and Computer Graphics, Predictive Analytics, Machine Learning, and Gaze-Based Computer Interactions. My dissertation mainly focused on understanding human visual perception, with special focus on gaze prediction, gaze guidance and real-world task inference. I have developed a comprehensive model of human visual attention prediction that incorporates, scene context, scene saliency, task at hand and eye movement data to predict the distribution of a viewer\'s gaze on a given scene. My educational background is available in my profile.I have worked as a Teaching Assistant Professor at Stevens Institute of Technology, NJ and as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Computer Science at RIT. I have taught an undergraduate course titled \"Introduction to Computer Science (Honors)-Java\",\"Systems Programming\",\"Discrete Structures\",\"Introduction to Computer Vision\", and a graduate level course titled \"Interactive Computer Graphics\",\"Foundations of Computer Vision\". This teaching opportunity provided me with useful experience in syllabus design, lecture preparation, presentation, and the formulation of effective assignments and tests.
