Outlier detection: Machine learning based listing outlier detection & scoring by analyzing the listing for conflicts based on several parameters including sale history, seller quality, listing NLP info. Techniques involve machine learning, executing realtime models on Java with NLP score service based on Keras and python with JavaScript Electron as frontend.* Recommendation Platform: Designed and developed recommendation engine to sellers, recommendations computed at listing time (realtime) and async notification. As machine learning & platform principal developed realtime and eventual consistency based recommendations working with data scientists to scale 200 million recommendations to 1.7Billion recommendations a day both realtime and async. Transformed “analytical zone\" data to \"prod zone\" data using realtime models for scalability. Most notable features are underperforming listing price recommendations, listing insights, listing quality score, competitive listings analysis. Technology involves OpenStack Swift(S3 like) store, Kafka, Elastic Search, document DB.* Compliance Platform: Architected and developed compliance platform from ground up to notify sellers of compliance issues, used eventual consistency model to interact with detection systems and record compliance.* Developed 3rd party APIs for marketplace insights and compliances * As selling platform architect was responsible for Product Based Commerce initiative working with different teams across eBay, selling, buying, structured data and risk to develop a end2end approach for the initiative which has been successfully deployed for certain categories (and will be expanded) which improves key eBay buyer and seller experience.
