ABOUT SRINIDHI RAMAN
As a Statistics and Data Science junior at UT Austin, I\'ve gained hands-on experience in biostatistics, data visualization, and applied research. Through the Freshman Research Initiative and my TechTable internship, I’ve explored analytics tools and techniques that sparked my passion for data-driven problem-solving. I currently work as an Integrative Biology researcher in the Havird Lab, studying turtle microbiology and genetics at the UT Turtle Pond. I’m hoping to develop a comprehensive dataset to support ongoing research and contribute to ecological and conservation-focused insights. Beyond data science, I’m minoring in Cultural Anthropology and Asian Religions, exploring global cultures and my own roots from multiple perspectives. Outside of academics, I’m a six-genre trained vocalist, songwriter, published author, henna artist (with my own small business!), art history + museum enthusiast, and aspiring wildlife photographer. As a polyglot, I love connecting with people through language, travel, and shared creativity. I’m always excited to connect with researchers, professionals, and peers who are passionate about interdisciplinary learning, collaborative discovery, and building impactful solutions.
