With over 22 years of experience in Electronics, Communication, Instrumentation, and Image & Video Processing, I hold a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Anna University, Chennai. I am currently guiding 10 research scholars in these fields.My research contributions include publishing several papers in internationally refereed journals and conferences, with 38 papers indexed in SCOPUS and 24 in Web of Science (WoS). Notably, I have received Best Paper Awards at international conferences in Singapore (2016) and Dubai (2017).I have authored books on Digital Image Processing and Transducers & Measurements, and contributed 8 book chapters to Springer publications. My work has led to the granting of 3 patents in Electronics, Sensors, and Bio-Energy.My projects have attracted over Rs. 72 lakhs in research funding from agencies like TNSCST, AICTE, and and industry partners such as Bimetal Bearings and T-Stanes. Additionally, I have secured Rs. 23.8 lakhs for seminars and workshops from organizations including ICMR, CSIR, and DRDO.I am honored to have received the Best Faculty Award for teaching and research excellence (2016-17), and was named Best Head of the Department by IIT Madras in 2017.
