I’m a technologist focused on making complex systems usable, reliable, and scalable for the people who depend on them. I currently work at Sierra on infrastructure.Previously at Stripe, I worked across service mesh and service discovery, imaging and host management, and AWS resource management and efficiency. Earlier, I contributed to Heroku’s Common Runtime and built multi-cloud authentication infrastructure for Salesforce Customer 360.My background spans distributed systems, networking, operating systems, and large-scale infrastructure. I’ve built features in hybrid software-defined networking (encryption at Riverbed), data compression platforms (Datera), scalable tracing and debuggability for numerical systems, and carrier-grade telecom software at Cisco.Beyond building systems, I lead initiatives, mentor engineers, and help shape technical vision and strategy. I care deeply about creating strong teams and environments where people can do their best work while delivering meaningful outcomes.Outside of work, I’m a singer and an enthusiastic (if inconsistent) multi-instrumentalist.
