Mechanical Engineer having around 30 years industrial experience in Quality, Manufacturing and Purchase Program Management. Qualified as a Certified Quality Engineer from ASQ. Have been trained in Statistical Quality Control and Operations Research at Indian Statistical Institute Madras in 1986 full time one year course. Varied experience in failure analysis, warranty reduction, development and troubleshooting of new models both vehicles and aggregates, handling ramping up issues in production, problem solving, manpower and labor handling, undertaking kaizen and improvement activities, Line balancing, etc. Exposed to quality management systems like ISO TS 16949. Have been exposed to TQM training at Japan by JUSE and kaizen techniques by Japanese Consultants.
