About Srilekha Sapram
I am a graduate of University of Pittsburgh with a Rehabilitation Sciences (B.S.) major at the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. I have always been a community-oriented person, and this trait has fostered my love for Physician Assistant Studies. In the future, I hope to use my medical knowledge and expertise to care and give back to my community while working with a team of healthcare workers! I am dedicated to serving my community, as I have acquired over 300+ service hours over the years by helping in a variety of service projects: park clean-ups, food pantries, feeding the homeless, car washes for charities, and organizing stock for a daycare in an underserved community. I have spent many of my summers volunteering at my local library’s children’s program as well. I am also an active member in Alpha Phi Omega, one of the oldest service fraternities in America. In my time as a volunteer, I cultivated invaluable experience with interacting with people from all sorts of diverse backgrounds and ages, which I can apply to my future patients. I am also an active participant in healthcare with my job as a Medical Assistant at UPMC. I hope to gain more experience in more direct patient care to develop my knowledge in healthcare and help my community.
