Actively involved in the transition of NBFC-MFI into a Small Finance Bank. Serve as the single point of contact for all Verticals on legal guidance/advice on all business aspects such as transactions with clients, communication & reporting to regulatory agencies and the Government. Serve as the link between the empanelled law-firms/lawyers and the organization for resolving legal issues. Develop a framework for legal risk identification and assessment across various business activities in consultation with the concerned business teams; Provide inputs to the CFO/CRO for appropriate mitigation strategies for potential risks. Assist in framing/ review of policies and on all documents, contracts and agreements relating to the business operations to protect the Bank against any legal exposure and minimize liability. Support collections team in managing collections & recovery through legal means Member of National Leadership Team (NLT) and steering all legal matters on behalf of the Management.
