I joined as Research Officer in the Heritage Programme, School of Humanities at NIAS, Bangalore in March 2016, and assumed the role of Associate Professor in August 2018. My research interests are Indian Prehistory, Megaliths and Early Monumental Architecture of the Indian Subcontinent, including early temple architecture and the architecture of stupas and memorials. I also study the life and working techniques of ancient artisans.
