MY PROFILEAfter his articleship with A.F.Ferguson, Srikumar passed his CA in 1981. He continued with them for an year till 1982.During his tenure with them, he had the opportunity to get an insight into systems being followed in the TATA group companies like Tata Motors,TRF,ACC,Sankey Wheels,HSBC and a host of such companies spanning different segments.As a professional Srikumar has completed 25 rich years in the corporate world, holding senior managerial postions.To start with, he has spent 7 years in Tata Motors during a time when lot of systems were being developed, which has given him an in depth understanding.Among his other assignments are head of Accounting in Volvo India (P) Ltd for 4 years.During his tenure he was recognized for his significant contribution in reduction in cost and control and brought about substantial savings. Apart from his routine functions he was part of the team restructuring the systems and implementing SOX in the unit.As a part of his achievement as CFO in Reva Electric Car Co (P)Ltd, the first venture of its kind, he was directly involved in obtaining project finance, FIPB clearance and setting up the systems.He was a SAP Super User in Volvo and had undergone in house training in FICO.His experience has been widespread across different industry segments like Plantations, Garments, Bio Tech, Construction, and Financial Services apart from Automobiles.As a part of his assignments, he has traveled to Malaysia, Singapore, Luxembourg, Germany, France, Sweden, Denmark,the Caribbean and USA.
