Spearheaded high-content imaging (Cellular senescence) and HTS-based (Cell viability, apoptosis, Incucyte cell growth) assay development to evaluate and target drug resistance in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC)- Generated engineered cell lines using CRISPR/Cas9 knockout, shRNA knockdown and overexpression to identify targets and pathways conferring resistance to Osimertinib in EGFR driven NSCLC- Investigated the signaling changes in isogenic cell line pairs using western blotting, HTRF and qPCR panels- Stayed up to date with current literature and presented new drug targets in NSCLC to the internal new targets’ forum- Organized monthly Oncology seminars (by internal and external experts) facilitating knowledge exchange, peer networking and collaboration within the Oncology science focus group called “ONCORE”- Collaborated with international research groups and co-authored four publications (in preparation) in EGFR space- Maintained accurate and comprehensive documentation of research processes and results in Electronic Lab notebook (ELN) ensuring compliance with industry standards.Accomplishments- Developed new assays for epitranscriptomics (RNA modifications)- Identified potential drug combinations for patients that relapse on Osimertinib therapy in the clinic.
