ABOUT SRIKARI DHULIPALA
I’m Srikari Dhulipala, an aspiring life sciences researcher driven by curiosity, precision, and a genuine desire to create meaningful scientific impact. Currently pursuing my M.Sc. in Molecular Biology at Central University of Andhra Pradesh, I’m fascinated by the complex ways cells communicate, adapt, and misbehave—especially in the context of cancer.During my recent internship at the University of Hyderabad, I worked at the Molecular Biology & Cell Signaling Lab on the AMPK–ERα axis in endometrial cancer, where I gained hands-on experience with key molecular techniques such as Western Blotting, Immunoprecipitation, Transfection, Luciferase Assays, PCR, and Animal Cell Culture. This exposure strengthened both my technical foundation and my passion for translational research. My academic journey also includes a UG thesis on antibacterial activity of Phyllanthus niruri, and training in cheminformatics, QSAR analysis, and molecular docking, giving me a multidisciplinary outlook that bridges wet-lab biology with computational insights.Beyond the lab, I bring creativity, discipline, and confidence shaped through my experiences in:• Black-belt karate with state and national championships• Carnatic vocals, currently pursuing Sangeetha Visaradha• Public speaking, compering events and participating in elocutions• Community outreach, including teaching and serving as a scribeI’m motivated by a simple vision: to contribute to science that matters. Science that moves us closer to better diagnostics, better treatments, and a better understanding of life itself. I’m always happy to connect with researchers, collaborators, and anyone passionate about molecular biology, cancer research, or interdisciplinary science.
