About Srikanth Yerra
I am a Power Electronics Engineer with a Ph.D. and hands-on experience on high-voltage PFC stages, resonant DC-DC converters, multi-phase DC-DC buck, and traction inverter systems. My career spans industry leaders such as Texas Instruments and Infineon, where I have designed and validated GaN/SiC power stages, optimized high-frequency converters, and delivered reference designs that accelerated customer adoption. I have also authored 10+ peer-reviewed publications and serve as an reviewer, actively contributing to the global power electronics community. What sets me apart is the ability to bridge deep research expertise with practical product execution. I have led system modeling, PCB layout, firmware development, and digital control MCU), consistently delivering converters that achieve higher efficiency, density, and reliability. My work includes developing and testing control software for high-voltage PFC and resonant DC-DC converters up to 22 kW at 800 V, design, PCB layout and testing of multiphase DC-DC buck topologies, and implementing MHz-switching GaN solutions for advanced envelope-tracking power supplies — all demonstrating my strength in solving complex design challenges across the full development cycle.I thrive in dynamic, cross-functional teams where innovation meets application. Whether collaborating with hardware, firmware, and systems engineers, mentoring colleagues, or engaging directly with customers, I bring both technical rigor and collaborative energy. I am passionate about advancing next-generation power solutions that push efficiency, sustainability, and performance to new levels — and I am eager to connect with others who share that visionSkills- Computer: Altium Designer, COMSOL, ANSYS Q3D, PLECS, LTSpice, MATLAB/Simulink, Power World, Typhoon-HIL, TI-CCStudio, Quartus, ModelSim, Microsoft Visio- Hardware: PCB design, Oscilloscopes, Electronics design, Circuit debugging, Function generator, Electronic Load, Signal analyzer, Device analyzer, Altera FPGA, Creating BOM/procurement- Programming: C, Verilog, Python, MATLAB, SPICE
