Lead data migration efforts of data sources from Teradata to Snowflake. Trained and mentored junior team members through modern cloud-based development and advanced analytics. • Experience with architecting, developing, and deploying full scale data as a service application called Opex Analyzer to analyze operating expenses and create profitability data on Kubernetes cluster (AWS EKS) using Python, FastAPI, Jinja, SQLite, HTML and CSS. • Experience partnering with internal departments (Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, and HR) to establish requirements and translated them into technical requirements and produce required source-to-target data mappings including data, design, product, and executive teams and assisting them with data-related technical issues. • Designed and developed end to end data flow process including Data Pipelines, Orchestration and Configuration from various source systems (either pull or push methodologies) to Landing Area (AWS S3) and from Landing to Staging and then to Snowflake. • Performed bulk loading from S3 to Snowflake Cloud using COPY command, complex snowSQL scripts and Snow pipe for continuous data ingestion from S3 bucket. • Hands-on experience with Modern Data Engineering projects and practices (Airflow, Kafka, Spark, and python) and including automating large-scale, high-performance data engineering systems (batch and streaming). • Worked on creating different types of loads via DBT models. Setting up projects in DBT for incremental and full refresh approaches. Utilized Pre hook and Post hook methods in DBT while performing the loads. • Worked on both scripting and system programming languages, microservices including defining and testing APIs. • Worked on impact assessment like schedule changes, building dependencies, code changes for various change requests on Teradata Data Warehouse applications that are running in a production environment.
