About Srikanth Grandhi
Overall, my experience so far includes in the area of both Water and Wastewater treatment. As a process/design engineer I appreciated the opportunities of - Evaluating plant data, developing process models on BioWin and GPS-X, and performing engineering design for existing and new Water/Wastewater treatment/reclaimed facilities- Assisting in evaluating process upsets in WWTPs- Preparing Technical Memoranda, Reports, and O&M manuals for both Water and Wastewater treatment facilities- Research & Development activities and projects that includes my interest and experience in emerging contaminants like PFAS, etc. Prior to my Masters in Civil Engineering (Specialization in Wastewater treatment), I worked as an Environmental Engineer in a Coal mining company in India. My experience briefly includes: • 2 years of experience in Coal Mining Industry, Steel Manufacturing plant, Cement company, Power plant in the capacity of environmental Engineer• ISCST3, surfer, AutoCAD, MS-OFFICE, WRPLOT, Surfer, Fugitive Dust Model (FDM), MODFLOW, BioWin and conversant with FORTRAN programming• Executed the Routine Environmental Monitoring (collection and analysis of water, soil and air samples) done once in a fortnight, every month, year round for all 10 coal fields of Mahanadi Coalfields Limited, a subsidiary of Coal India Limited• Prepared Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Environmental Management Plan reports of the Coal Mines, using various software like WRPLOT, Fugitive Dust Model (FDM), and Industrial Source Complex Short Term 3 (ISCST3)• Involved in the design of an anaerobic wetland for treating effluent from one of the Acid Mines of Coal India Limited (20••••11)• Paper titled “Comparative Evaluation of High rate anaerobic processes for treatment of distillery spent wash” published in Journal of Industrial Research and Technology, J. Ind. Res. Tech. 1(1): 17-23 Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality• Strong ability to multi-task under pressure
