To be among the best, it is imperative to know where i stand in the supply chain. What lies ahead of me and what lies behind, in the stream of a supply chain defines my contribution towards my customers as a Sourcing & Procurement (S&P) professional. I have been growing in Sourcing and Procurement domain for the last 14 years, learnt and disseminated some of the best-in-class practices for fortune 500 customers into IT, Automotive, Mining, Real Estate, Oil & Gas, and Electrical & Electronics industries. This hunger to learn has helped me understand that there are no standard solutions to modern day procurement problems, however, a customized response with adoption of digital technologies has the answer to tackle the dynamic geopolitical scenarios effecting global supply chains. As seasoned procurement practitioner, I help customers implement the best-in-class practices of Source to Pay process for their businesses around the globe. Till now i have managed over $200 Million USD worth of spend and delivered 8 - 10% of cost savings year on year. On a day-to-day basis, we encounter business that have the potential for negotiations on price points, payment terms and delivery lead time, along with push towards compliance on contractual terms and conditions. This has positively impacted bottom line savings to the tune of $10 Million USD over a period of 5 years, optimized turnaround times by 30% and up to 98% automation of Purchase requests to Purchase order conversions. A great role has been played by my mentors to help me reach where I’m, these learnings have transgressed the boundaries of professional and personal life. The basic concepts of industry\'s best practices are equally applicable to our personal life. My spare time is now diligently spent on music, learn instruments which in turn lets me meditate and prepare for every single day.
