ABOUT SRIJAN BANDYOPADHYAY
I grew up as a rootless cosmopolitan, living and learning in 10 cities across 4 continents for the first 22 years of my life Since settling in NCR 12 years ago, I have served young Indians by counseling 100+ applicants to secure admissions at top global universities with over USD $1M in scholarships; organizing educational workshops at 100+ college/university campuses; and exploring the potential of blended learning to mainstream higher education Passionate about a learner-centred approach to pedagogy, I have facilitated hours of Socratic Dialogues on topics ranging from economics, philosophy, politics, literature, history, law, and the natural sciences. Learning to manage two chronic mental and physical health conditions since high school, I have realized the importance of emotional and physical well-being to the development of a productive and meaningful life A favorite amongst many motivations for serving young adults:\"The dogmas of the quiet past are inadequate to the stormy present. The occasion is piled high with difficulty and we must rise with the occasion. As our case is new, we must think anew and act anew. We must dis-enthrall ourselves, and then we shall save our country.\" Abraham Lincoln, 1862 address to US Congress; borrowed from the late great Ken Robinson\'s TED presentation, Bring on the Learning Revolution!
